Four Years of A Trillion Smiles

A 17-year-old girl, impending exams and a desire to spread smiles.

This is how A Trillion Smiles was born.

Our founder, Muskan Agarwal (her name literally translates to a smile!), was the one to throw colours and drawings on paper and make beautiful cards out of them for her dear ones in school. Whether it was for her teachers, friends or relatives. But things started to get out of hand (in a good way, of course) when she began to receive requests from her friends to make handmade cards for their loved ones.

And this spider web of word-of-mouth about her creativity was unleashed to the world soon when she launched A Trillion Smiles not just as a helping hand to her circle for card-making, but also as a potential business.

The timing of the initiation of the company was a little off, though. It occurred weeks before the gravest and the most nerve-wracking event of a desi student’s life - 12th boards. But we went with it anyway. Quite the bold move, isn’t it? But that’s the thing about the team here at ATS. We are all enablers of ideas, and we do it as soon as possible! After all, sometimes, doing away with patience works.

At the start of this company’s journey, everything was a challenge. Packing orders day and day out, controlling the urge to eat all those delicious chocolates that are meant for the customers, feeling doubtful about the design of our own business cards.

But as time passed, things started to fall perfectly into place like a puzzle. The company started to grow and receive more orders and our daily operations increased.

Today, A Trillion Smiles has a website, social media presence, a wide range of beautiful products and a loyal and booming customer base. We have fulfilled hundreds of national and international orders. Our team and our company are expanding every day at an exponential day, and we couldn’t be more proud of ourselves. We must give ourselves a little pat on our backs if you will.

November 2020 will mark 4 years of developing handcrafted goods, packaging, delivery and sale of A Trillion Smiles’ gifting solutions. It will also mark 4 years of a young girl breaking all stereotypical shackles and owning her identity as an independent female leader.

We urge our readers to celebrate this day with us - not owing to our 4 year anniversary (although, you are free to join our celebrations). Celebrate this day if you are innovative, have a vision and are constantly impatient (but with a plan) to achieve it.

This company was born when a student did not know what the future held for her. A leap of faith is all you need, too!
